All I really remember about this movie was an all American Flash Gordon surrounded by a bevvy of English support actors. This film is so cheesy that it works. It's the closest thing to cartoon TV. The costumes were all outrageous and if it hadn't been for them it would have been truly forgettable. The recent TV show pales into obscurity compared to it.
I remember this movie. It was so bad it was good. I remember the great sound track by Queen and the flying army. The costumes designer put the glam back into Flash Gordon.
